Mustangs Rally In Overtime

It was probably not a smart move by the athletic director to let the girls hockey team get on the road to Berkshire, but the coach had a great feeling about the day and didn't want to let the opportunity pass. After a white knuckle ride to Sheffield, the mustangs started with a 2-0 lead for the second game in a row. Millbrook would take a 3-1 lead early in the third, but Berkshire battled back with two goals to tie the game after Millbrook ended up in the penalty box for what seemed like the entire third period. Matching minors in overtime made it 4 on 4, and Carly Weigold was able to punch in the game winner after some good forechecking and a nice feed by Bre Babiarz. No spin outs and an overtime win - it was a good day indeed for the mustangs!
