Winter Weekend Victory

After a raucous pep rally to open up winter weekend, the girls came out flying against Greenwich Academy on Friday night. Millbrook took a 3-0 lead in the first with a natural hat trick from Melissa Sheeran. Carly Weigold added two more of her own in the third to propel the mustangs to a 5-0 victory. Morgan Moffat was strong again in net for her third shut out of the season. Alden Woolford and Kelsey McEvoy were tenacious penalty killers during the third period. The team moved the puck well throughout, and looks forward to two big games next week against nearby rivals Hotchkiss and Berkshire.
