It was a rough and intense game today against Kingswood-Oxford. Both teams were rough and tumble, and both teams saw a number of penalties throughout. K-O opened the scoring only 5 minutes into the game. Soon after, Allanah Roopchand, assisted by Eliza Chapman, put Millbrook on the board to tie the game at one. Late in the second period, K-O managed to slide another one past Tori Trovato and the Millbrook defense to go up 2-1 with only one period remaining. Midway through the third period, Megan Ahern, assisted by Emily Even, tied the game with a timely goal. With only 5 minutes remaining in the game, K-O scored yet again to go ahead of the Mustangs by one late in the third. Answering back within the same minute, Marianne Thomaris, from a pass by Holland Harvard, tied the score at 3-3 to push the game into overtime. In the first minute of overtime, Roopchand scored again, this time assisted by Ahern, to propel the Mustangs to an exciting victory over K-O.
