Millbrook Falls to Hotchkiss

Millbrook started the game off with high energy and an impressive tempo. Melissa Sheeran started the scoring just one minute into the game, off an assist from Allanah Roopchand. The Mustangs continued to pass well, skate hard and shut Hotchkiss down all over the ice. Emma Hart, Geneva Wagoner, Cora MacKenzie, and Heather Neuberger played aggressive, effective defense. Tori Trovato stood on her head once again in the net. With just 2 minutes remaining in the period, Sheeran put in another goal, this time assisted by Megan Ahern. Unfortunately, the second period did not show the same intensity and focus from the Mustangs. Hotchkiss was able to score early and put in 4 goals before the end of the period. The girls played hard in the third period but were unable to take back the lead, leaving the final score 4-2.
