Tough Loss to Greenwich Academy

After a tough first period, Millbrook went into the second down 2-0. The girls rallied and played their best period of hockey yet. Melissa Sheeran scored one for Millbrook on a breakaway. Allanah Roopchand then tied it up with a five-hole goal. Going into the third period tied 2-2, Millbrook hit the ice with intensity and composure. Unfortunately, GA was able to go up again with a goal late in the 3rd period. With a penalty called against GA with only 3 minutes left, Millbrook's power play fought hard, adding a sixth player with 1:23 seconds left in the game. GA was able to break from the zone and put in an empty net goal, leaving the game 4-2. Millbrook continued to dig deep and fight hard throughout the game.
