Mustangs battle back but fall in playoffs
The crack of the bat was heard again in Millbrook as we took on Wilbraham with wood bats in the WNEPSBL playoffs. This time it was Wilbraham who prevailed 5-3 on the strength of three runs in the first. Millbrook cam back to tie it up in the fifth on an rbi double by Carl Rasmussen '12, as well as clutch two outs rbi's from Joseph Kreta '10 (2-3) and Harrison Gostfrand '11 (2-3). But Wilbraham would get its own clutch hits in the sixth. John McCulla settled down after a rocky first and threw six strong innings.
