Mustangs lose a tight one to Gunnery

On a cold and blustery day, the Millbrook 9 came up a bit short vs a solid Gunnery squad.  Andrew Hughes ’10 got his first start of the year and pitched extremely well, allowing only 2 earned runs through 6 innings of work.  Unfortunately, we made just enough miscues in the field to allow Gunnery to score 6 total runs.   While we threatened a few times, we hit too many balls right at people and Gunnery made most of the plays.  John McCulla’ 10 hit a homerun through a 20 MPH wind and Jonah Feitelson ’11 added a hit and an rbi.  Feitelson also made a great catch in left on a tough day to play the outfield.  Additionally, Carl Rasmussen ’12 pitched well in relief and made a nice play in the field.  We look to avenge an earlier loss to Berkshire on Saturday.
