Millbrook @ St. Andrew's School, Boca Raton, FL

After getting in one practice, The Mustangs took on the 8-3 St. Andrews Scots in Boca Raton Florida on Saturday.  John McCulla '10 held the Scots for the first two innings and the Mustangs took an early 1-0 lead into the bottom of the third.  Juan Pablo Viteri '10 scored his first run of his career on a Sac Fly by Carl Rasmussen '12.  Alas, our lack of time on the field did come back to haunt us as we made too many errors, and walked too many batters in the 3rd.  Overall, however, it was a positive day for our pitchers as we only gave up 5 hits, 3 of which were of the seeing eye ground ball variety.  In addition, newcomer Jason San Antonio '10 proved a tough out reaching base 4 times in as many tries.  We did work 8 walks to go with our 2 hits (by Jason San Antonio '10 and John McCulla '10).
