Millbrook @ Zion Lutheran, Deerfield Beach, FL

W, 11-0, 5 innings at Zion Lutheran, Deerfield Beach, FL
After two and half days of solid practices, the Mustangs again took the field against a Florida school in the midst of their season.  John McCulla '10 got the start and pitched a very effective and efficient four innings, allowing no runs on 2 hits in only 54 pitches.  Jason San Antonio finished with a 1-2-3 fifth for the mercy rule win.  In addition to solid pitching, the Mustangs played error free baseball led by our trio of outfielders, Harrison Gostfrand '11 in center, Juan Pablo Viteri '10 in Left and Taigh Panzer '12 in right who combined for 5 of the 15 outs.  The Mustang attack was solid up and down the order as we battled every at-bat - cutting our strikeouts down to 3 while picking up 11 hits and scoring in all but one inning.  Leading the attack was Carl Rasmussen '12 (3-3, hbp, 5 rbi, 3 runs, triple, double) John McCulla '10 (2-3, walk, reached on error, 2 rbi, 3 runs, triple, double), and Jason San Antonio '10 (3-4, 2 runs, sb).  Adding rbi on Sacrifice flies were Tim Cooney (1-3, walk and reached on error) Grayson Voges '12 and Jason Greenfield '13.  Even our outs were hard hit.
