On a very wet afternnon at Chesire Academy, varsity and jv harriers placed 10th out of 12 teams and 7th out of 8 teams respectively. Both teams were hampered by injuries and/or missing runners for various reasons, however, the attending runners gave their all on a muddy, slippery, two lap course with one steep crazy hill which must be run twice in the race! Marston Garceau led the way for the varsity squad despite having been mildly under the weather during the week. Josh Freitas gave him a nervous finish though as new runner Josh was right on Marston's heels! Micky Mittermeier paced the jv squad with an impressive run late in the afternoon after the course was at it's worst. Congrats to all of the runners and also to Chesire Academy who persevered on a tough day to host an excellent race.
