Millbrook @ Westy

After a 4-1 loss against Pomfret on Saturday, the boys started off their week with a long haul to Westminister. Hopes were high, as the preperation for the game could be seen. We stepped on to the ice with authority, and it payed off. We were down 2-1 after the first period, to a very solid team. We looked to put in that same effort for the second, however, within a matter of a couple minutes, a breakdown occured. Westy put in 3 goals quickly, and it soon looked like it would be tough to come back. It was 3-2 before the flury of goals, and the game was really going well. Turned out to be 9-2, however, we never gave up. We fought to the end, and overall it was a very well played game by both sides, as the class of each team was seen. Kudos to Westminister and Millbrook for a hard fought game. To bad the score board couldn't show it. Another away game for the boys on Wednesday @ Gunnery. Once again, wish em' luck.
