Millbrook vs. Kent
In a much awaited rematch with Kent, Millbrook played a much more skilled game than at the beginning of the season.A coordinated defense, coupled with an athletic midfield, helped to create scoring opportunities for the offense. After Kent opened the scoring in the first half, Millbrook ended it with a goal off the foot of Colin Kim after an assist by Miguel Arias. The whole team continued to play hard into the second half, and were rewarded with another goal as Colin Kim sprinted between two defenders and slipped the ball past the Kent goalkeeper.Kent managed a second goal in the closing minutes of the game to bring the score to 2-2.While Millbrook played with aggression and a great sense of urgency as the clock ran down, they simply couldn't pull ahead, and ended the game tied.
