Boys Soccer has strong showing vs. The Saints

Millbrook prevailed over the Saints of Canterbury Saturday on a beautiful afternoon in New Milford. The game was a physical and bumpy affair and both teams played hard-nosed aggressive soccer. Millbrook scored first as a result of Baldo’s determined play in the box. Canterbury tied the score midway through the second half only to see the game slip away in the late stages. Baldo’s second goal, the game-winner, was due to the tireless efforts of Mauri in the middle, who assisted on the final tally. Sinclair and Abbott aided in the cause up front and the boys in the back – DeMarte, Fiore and Voges – played well in the winning effort.
