The Millbrook boys JV lacrosse team opened their season on wet day against a strong Salisbury team. On a rain soaked field, the team played hard and physical throughout. We fell behind in the first quarter, but fought back to win the second quarter. As the game wore on, both sides picked up their play and scored several goals. Matt Fuller ’09 led the mustangs offensively with 2 goals and one assist. Chase Cochran ’10 scored two more, and tri-captain Kenny Ortiz ‘08 added one assist. Dillon Lawson-Johnston ’10 played goal and made several saves to keep us in the game. All around, it was a great team effort for the first time running full field. Everyone played and added to the team’s success. The JV boys will be back in action on Saturday at home against Hopkins.
