The Millbrook Mustangs were on the road on the last Saturday of October for a four team meet hosted by the Salisbury School. Salisbury’s course is a formidable one – complete with hills at the start and finish area and miles of technical forest paths. The weather was, like many Saturday’s this fall, ideal for racing. Millbrook lost to both Salisbury (23-36) and Berkshire (25-30), yet managed to edge out Frederick Gunn for the second time this season by a score of 23-32. Millbrook’s top three runners on the day, Jack Evans, Jake Newman, and Forrest Schmitt, ran particularly strong on the day despite the challenging terrain.
