The Mustangs went to Forman to prove that a smaller in size and number team could be a serious competitor. They did just that until injuries depleted the Mustangs and the game was called in the 4th quarter. A kickoff return by Joe Rotarius led to the Mustangs 1st touchdown, to tie the score at 6-6 in the 1st quarter, and a 30 yard pass reception by Ryan Davis from Will Hou led to the Mustangs 2nd touchdown. The Mustangs defense was toughest it has been this season, causing the Forman team to turn over the ball on downs or punts a number of times. Jason Lei made some big tackles for Forman losses, and for one Forman drive, they were actually going in the Mustangs direction. Tahrieq Koonce also made some textbook tackles and was battered hard by the Forman team which keyed on him and Joe Rotarius. Forman scored on plays where the Mustangs could not secure a tackle or were not in the right place at the right time. Tahrieq Koonce won the player of the game award by the Forman team.
