Mustangs Fall at Rye in OT
The Millbrook Varsity Field Hockey team fell 3-2 to Rye Country Day in overtime. The Mustangs came out fast and scored two goals in the first half—by Riley Croghan ’18 and Ellie Muckstadt ’18—but couldn’t keep up the intensity in the second half. Rye crawled back into the game and scored twice to force overtime, and kept up the momentum in the extra period, pinning the Mustangs back and scoring the game-winner five minutes in. Patricia Smith ’17 made 12 saves in the contest. Millbrook will travel to Sacred Heart on Saturday.
