Millbrook Does Well in Scrimmage against Gunnery

The Millbrook Varsity Field Hockey team finally got a chance to play against an opponent, hosting Gunnery for a scrimmage on a sunny Saturday afternoon. It was an invaluable opportunity for the Mustangs to shake off the rust and get ready for the season. Chloe Robinson '19 knocked in a pair of goals and newcomer Emma Oliva '18 had one of her own. Millbrook keepers Patricia Smith '17 and Gracie Filler '17 combined for a shutout in the cage. The Mustangs did many things well, but also found some clear areas in which to improve moving forward. Millbrook has one more scrimmage--against Hotchkiss on Wednesday--before the regular season starts.
