Nail Bitter with the Saints

The Mustangs and the Saints took the field ready for an intense game! The Saints came out on fire and scored 3 unanswered goals. Millbrook quickly shook off the quick goals and responded to end the first half 6-4 (Canterbury).  Carly Weigold '16 helped to turn the game after an interception and 5 saves. The game continued to go back and forth while both teams hustled and played great full field games. Katie Bishop-Manning '17 sparked up the defense with a diving save and Jill koop '16 with a huge interception. VI Formers Siena Buffa and Abby Sanford controlled the attack with 8 points between the two. Lizzie Carter '18, Olivia Galli '16, and Olivia May '17 all contributed goals and Hannah Cavanaugh '18 had 3 assists on the day. The game would not have been as exciting or energy-filled without the noise and cheers from the Mustangs sideline.
