Boys Varsity Soccer Advances To The NEPSAC Class C Championship Game
Congratulations to boys varsity soccer on their 2-1 win in the New England semi-final match against Hebron Academy. It's on to the CHAMPIONSHIP match tomorrow at 12: 45 at Loomis Chaffee.
Baki Bawa '14 and Edward Opoku '15 each scored a goal today, but it was a complete team effort that earned the win against a tough competitor. Hebron came into today's round at 9-3-3.
Today's win in the semi-final round follows a 9-1 win over Greens Farms in the quarterfinals of the New Englands championships. The Mustangs played extremely well with Baki Bawa, Edward Opoku, Jeremy Tenenbaum, and Jeremy LoSchavio scoring two goals each. Jack Bradley contributed the final goal in an impressive and important win for the Mustangs.
