Mustangs Cruise to 5-1 Victory
The Mustangs scored early and often en route to a 5-1 victory over local Trinity Pawling.
The Mustangs jumped out to a quick 1-0 lead and never looked back en route to a 5-1 victory. Many Mustangs got in on the act - goal scorers for Millbrook were Matt Gosiewski, Henry Carr, Andrew Tartaro, Zach Brasser and Wyatt Winfrey. The Mustangs also had 3 players tally an assist - Andrew Purse had 2 set-ups with Andrew Tartaro and Henry Rosenberg collecting one each.
It was a great effort all around with the usual suspects anchoring the Mustang defense. Mike Vance, Jackson Lee, Wyatt Winfrey, Jack Loessberg and David Yu all had great defensive games agains the overmatched Trinity Pawling squad.
Goalie David Waterman stymied 12 of the 13 shots he faced.
The Mustangs are off on Saturday but look to continue the hot streak on Wednesday against Brunswick.
