With 3 games remaining in the season, the Lady Mustang JV hockey team recorded not only their first win of the season, but also the first win of the program's existence. It was truly a team win, with every member making positive contributions. Amber Koenigsberger went down for the season with a hand injury and Emma Garschagen volunteered to goaltend. Her 4 save effort resulted in a shutout in her first netminding game ever. Scoring was opened by Emma Feitelson who netted the first two of the game on full ice rushes and added a third point in the form of an assist. Emily Hoffman was moved from her regular defensive position to forward and manage to post a hat trick. Hanna Ohaus was the beneficiary of a goal-mouth scramble and sheer determination to notch her first career goal. Makenzie Scheerer also tickled the twine for her first career goal and added an assist. The scoring was rounded out by Lena Hardy with a goal and an assist. Olivia Dolan moved from center to defense and set up two of the eight goals. Chloe Naese also moved to defense from her usual center position and played solid defense while managing one shot on goal. Robin Genovese earned herself two assists and Mary McNulty's hustle and determination resulted in an assist as well. Caroline Ronveaux came very close to scoring on two occasions, but her shots were parried by the Blue Dog goalie.
