<b>Senior Signs to Division I Lacrosse Team</b>
Luke Kochanowski '10 recently committed to Providence College by signing a National Letter of Intent to play lacrosse. In addition to being excited about this opportunity, he is thrilled to have received a scholarship, as well. He is enthusiastic to play under Coach Burdick and his staff. Luke and the Friars will play against the nations top teams including Syracuse, Georgetown, Notre Dame, Umass, Rutgers and Brown.
Enrolled as a new Vth former last year, this is Luke's second year at Millbrook after leaving Minnechaug High School in Massachusetts. As a junior at Millbrook, he was a 1st Team All Western New England selection, and he is already looking forward to the start of the 2010 lacrosse season.
Luke will continue to be a true anchor and leader for Millbrook's defense. In each game during the 2009 campaign, Luke played defense against our opponent's top offensive player. According to Coach Mullen, "Luke is exactly what a coach wants. He consistently gives his all in games and practice, and he only needs to be told something once and he will do it."
