Tough Loss to Berkshire

The Boys Varsity Lacrosse Team traveled to Berkshire on Wednesday for the annual rival match up. It proved to be good game after half time, when the score was 2-0 Berkshire. Our defense was playing excellent, and the coverage was good. For some reason, at the start of the third quarter, the game went down hill in our direction. Berkshire scored a few quick goals and by the time they reached 6, we were out of it. On the offensive side of the field, there was little production. With only one goal From Senior Jake Smhidlapp, Berkshires possession time was much greater than ours. Chris Bennett ('08) played very well up to half time, as did the defense, however, Millbrook was playing defense all game, and could only hold their offense for so long. Although Berkshire wasn't necessarily better than us, they controlled the ball better and therefore out scored us completely. With only one game left in the season, the seniors and the rest of the team look forward to pulling out all the stops at Home against Williston next Wednesday. With a week of pracitices leading up until the game, the Boys are working hard to finish the season strong. Best of luck.
