The boys varsity lacrosse team headed to Salisbury on Saturday for an unscheduled match up, on a two-game winning streak, hoping to come away with an upset. Unfortunately, missing three defensemen did not help by any means, as in the end we gave up 18 goals. Salisbury has always been a tough oppenent for us in the past, but it was great to see our guys giving 100% on the field, especially Travis Vogues ('09), who had two goals on the day. Parent ('08) and Laux ('11) also had goals. Millbrook worked hard on both ends, but Salisbury's ability to possess the ball all game in our zone allowed them to defeat us. The defense worked hard, especially Chris Bennett ('08), who made many key saves all game. With only three games left in the season, Millbrook looks to finish strong in what has been a rather difficult season, and looks forward to facing off against our biggest rival, Berkshire, on Wednesday. But our first test will be The Gunnery tomorrow (Monday) at 4:30.
