Millbrook vs. Taft

The boys Varsity Lacrosse team had their first game in 7 days following of a forfeit by Cheshire Academy on Saturday. They took on Taft at home, and couldn't hold them all the way, ending up with a 9-3 loss. At half time, the score board read 3-1 Taft. We were playing well, holding them on defense, while creating scoring opportunities on offense. However, a breakdown on defense in the second half led to a quick 4 goals by Taft. That was enough for Taft to take the victory, allowing us to score only two more goals. Millbrook's offense was lead by Jake Schmidlapp ('08), Sam Baily ('08), and Matt Job ('10). Chris Bennett ('08) played well in net, giving us chances on the offensive side of the field with some great clears. We look to take on a tough Canterbury squad next weekend @ Canterbury.
