The Boys lax team traveled to Kent on Wednesday looking to find that W in their third game of the season. Kent was the strongest of our three competitors so far, and we knew we would have to work hard and want a win more than our competitor. While it was our best game yet, Kent was big, strong, and experienced, and in the end they out-worked us for a 8-5 win.
As always, Bennett ('08) had some great saves in the cage to keep us close; it was 5-6 in the fourth quarter. However, one of their key attack-men (#14) had four goals on the day. In our offensive zone, goals came from Harvey (2g) ('10), Schmidlapp ('08), Benjamin ('09), and Baily ('08).
Our team will be on the road again on Saturday, traveling to face off against Cheshire. Wish 'em luck...
