The boys had a quick ride on Wednesday to Trinity - Pawling that resulted in a 2-5 loss. In general, it was poorly played by Millbrook. TP wasn't very skilled themselfs, and it was definitely a game that should have been won. Some how, we just couldn't create anything offensively. At the beginning of the game, it was looking promising, as we went up 2-1 at the end of the first with goals from Baldo and Fiore (08'). Unfortunately, we just couldn't keep it going, and slow puck movement, penalties, and turnovers allowed TP to come away with the victory. Even though TP wasn't a league game, that loss takes Millbrook's chance from making the playoffs disappear (mathematically). We would of had to win out for the rest of the season after that loss to Berkshire. But our focus is Pomfret on Saturday, which is a league game. Only a few left till' the Annual Empire Cup. Hopefully we'll see TP again at the Cup and get some revenge.
