Tough Loss @ Canterbury

The boys really stepped up their game from the last, scoring more than two goals for the first time since the holiday tournement. Going into the game, everyone was relaxed and ready to have some fun. We had nothing to loose. A very slow start for the stangs, two quick goals were on the board for Canterbury within minutes. It looked like the game was giong downhill. Fortuantley, Millbrook never gave up, and came back to make it a 3-3 game after the first. Goals were scored back and forth by both teams, and most of the third period was played at 5-5 until Canterbury knocked one in the net on a Powerplay with less than 10 mintutes left in the game. We fought hard, but never got a chance to pull Jamie (09'), who played a pretty solid game overall. The final score was 5-6 Canterbury. Theriault (10') came up big, scoring two goals, as well as Baldo (08') and Dubuc (09') scoring goals of their own. A much better game than the last few, the boys have gained some confidence heading to Williston on Wednesday. More long trips coming up, but they look foward to staying home this weekend to play Albany Academy on our Winter Weekend...should be fun. Wish em' luck going into their game vs. the Wildcats.
