Tough race for the Boys XC Cheshire Invitational
The boys went to Chesire Academy for the O’Connell Invitational. 9 of 14 boys showed up to depart on the bus. Of those, two were injured or sick, thus the JV team was scrubbed upon arrival at Chesire and three jv boys were bumped up to Varsity. The 7 that ran did their best but it wasn’t enough....
Millbrook came in 8th out of 8 teams.
Kudos to all the runners that showed up because whatever their times, they ran hard.
Ben Cart, Millbrook’s number 1, came in 2nd place and ran a great race. This despite sore knees...Ben ran through it.
Finally, kudos to Carter Sloan, Jonah Feitelson, and Micky Mittermeir, the jv guys who ran hard in the varsity race!
