Stangs Drop a Tough One

In their first official game of the season, the varsity squad lost to Taft 2-1.  It took the team a period to find their game, but played well int he second and third periods.  Taft capitalized on tow power plays in the second.  Sophie Schwartz netted her first career Millbrook goal, assisted by Piper Smith in the third.  Though they managed to put on a strong push in the third, Millbrook could not manage to get the equalizer.  Morgan Ainley played extremely well in goal and gave the skaters an opportunity to get the win.
