"Snow" Much Fun!

Winter brought seasonal snow and fun festivities to campus this past weekend, including the annual Snow Ball dance.

Students took to sleds Friday afternoon, flying down the hill behind Case Hall and enjoying the fresh wintry mix.

Saturday brought the annual Snow Ball dance, and once again Millbrook's amazing parent volunteers transformed the Barn - this year into an awesome arctic oasis - for the special occasion. "Millbrook parents always make this event extra special. Whether by donating wreaths and trees or by coming to campus to transform the Barn into a stunning space, they make it happen, and we are so grateful," said Director of Parent Programs Barbara Gatski. Students dressed in formal attire and enjoyed refreshments and music from DJ "Mr. White Christmas" (Mr. Whiting).

Beyond being a fun social event, the Snow Ball also serves as a benefit for Outreach, and proceeds from ticket sales support the organization's efforts. Students and faculty participating in Outreach educate members of the school community about human service needs that exist beyond Millbrook's campus and help address those needs by partnering with organizations such as All Hands and Hearts, Food of Life Pantry, Midnight Run, Crop Walk, and more.

Students have now turned their attention to wrapping up the fall semester and to final exams before heading off for winter recess. Good luck with finals, Mustangs!
