The Mustangs came off the bus inspired and found themselves up 10 halfway through the first half. The well-coached and hot shooting Gators battled back to find themselves up 3 at half time. An early lack pizazz in the second half put the Mustangs down 10. Faced with adversity with foul trouble and a challenging environment the Mustangs did not hang their head. A lineup featuring Adelaide Armah, Daniela Muscari, Lizzie Chamberlin, Helene Apollon, and Evelynn Najork provided the defensive spark the team needed and the last 8 minutes of the ballgame was a terrific contest.
