Millbrook Drops Winter Weekend Game at Sacred Heart
The Mustangs left an exciting Winter Weekend campus environment on Saturday to travel to the home of the number four team in Class A Sacred Heart on Saturday. Sacred Heart used a well-coached and well-organized attack to defeat the Mustangs 54-35. The Mustangs had trouble with Sacred Heart’s speed and passing in transition during the first half leading to a 17-point half time deficit. In the second half it was a different Mustangs team that took the floor, sprinting lanes in both transition offense and defense and playing tight with a quality Sacred Heart teams. Millbrook is optimistic and excited for an opportunity to put together a full 32 minutes against rival Gunnery on Wednesday.
