Mustangs Compete Hard but Fall Short vs. Suffield

After entering the half time break down 19-9 the Mustangs played a physical and disciplined Suffield tough in the second half, ultimately falling 34-24. Overall Millbrook showed a spirited defensive effort in their first game out as evidenced by 15 stops in 21 second half possessions. Unfortunately, the Mustangs were unable to consistently secure defensive rebounds or find consistently quality looks on the offensive to reward their good defensive effort. 
  • Kimora Jenkins ‘21 led the Mustangs in scoring with 18 points
  • Daniela Muscari ’19 chipped in with 4 points, and led the team in both rebounds (5) and deflections (4)
  • Jalia Musah ‘21 and Alyssa McLeod ’19 sparked a spirited support group from the bench in the second half, which was integral in the team's overall defensive intensity.
