Millbrook Drops Tough Game to Canterbury

The Millbrook Varsity Field Hockey team lost 2-1 to Canterbury in a game that was close throughout. The Mustangs got on the board first when Ellie Muckstadt '18 knocked home a pass from linemate Emma Gotthelf '19 (both had very nice games). However, the Saints quickly answered back, and the teams went into the half knotted at 1-1. It was a tense battle in the second until Canterbury scored with five minutes to go. Though the Mustangs had several good scoring opportunities, including many corners, Millbrook could not convert and Canterbury came away with the win. The Mustangs don't play again until Wednesday, when we will host Kent.
