Millbrook girls run PR's at the Williston 7-school invitational

Millbrook girls were ready for the fast, flat course at Williston Northampton School on Saturday, and to face some of the competition we'd raced several times this season.  As a team, we didn't fare as well this time - losing to Canterbury, Berkshire, and Westover Schools, whom we'd beat earlier. Meanwhile, Williston and Suffield dominated the race, which Suffield won by 1 point, 28-29. However, individual Millbrook runners had some fantastic times: Sarah Dietrich took 5th in the race in 20:04, a PR, Kerry Carr ran a smart, steady race and came in 15th in a PR of 21:11. Millbrook IIIrd formers Lillie Marcos and Raphaella Pope also had PRs of 23:17 and 24:06 respectively, as did Cindy He and Maggie Guo. Congratulations!
