Girls Start Well With Win

The girls made the trip to Lawrence Academy to start the regular season with a neutral site game against Kents Hill from Maine. The Mustangs controlled play for most of the game, pounding the Kents Hill goalie with 35 shots and missing the net on many other chances. Kents Hill kept it close, however, and moved the score to 3-2 on a 6 on 5 goal with just over a minute to play. Millbrook scored an empty net goal with 39 seconds to play to close out the victory. Many thanks to all the parents for coming to support the team, and to those who met the girls back at school after 10:00pm!
