The Lady Mustangs traveled to the Shepaug Valley to challenge Rumsey Hall School. Rumsey got on the board with a few goals in the first period. Going into the second period trailing, the Millbrook girls started to refocus and played the Blue Dogs more evenly. After two periods the score was Rumsey 5 and Millbrook 0. In between the second and third periods, the lockeroom was a little somber. After inspirational words from their coach, the Lady Mustangs took to the ice crazed hornets. They were flying around the rink, a buzing menace on the forecheck and managed to keep Rumsey scoreless in the third. With the clock winding down and about 5 minutes remaining Lena Hardy rushed the puck up the ice, she put a shot on goal and the Blue Dog goalie made the save, but Chloe Naese drove the net and managed to bang in the rebound topshelf (where momma keeps the cookies) for the Lady Mustangs' second goal of the year.
