Mustangs Win Season Opener
The Mustangs trekked down to Trumbull, CT for a 5:30 Monday game. Although things were slow to start, guards Paris and Medunjanin sparked a run with good moves to the basket and sharp shooting.
On the other end key defensive possessions allowed us to open up to a 20-point lead. The Kingsmen did not fold as they made a comeback of their own in the second half. Fatigue and a few first-game jitters resulted in Millbrook allowing CHS to fight their way back into the game. Key free throws down the stretch sealed the deal for the 'Stangs.
