Millbrook Grabs 3rd at the annual AA Tourney

The boys took off early Saturday afternoon and headed to Albany for the annual Ryder Cup Tournament held at Albany Academy. Compared to last year, where the boys came home winless, they excelled this year and grabbed two wins out of the three games played. A win over Lawrenceville (4-3), which was a great game. Millbrook was down 3-2 twoards the end of the game, and we became down two men and were forced to kill a 5 on 3 penalty. At that point, it pretty much seemed like the game was over...however, with much determination, the boys killed off the first penalty to make it a 5 on 4, and then scored shorthanded (along with 3 other shorthanded goals this weekend). It was now 3-3 and the game looked like it was heading to over time. However, you can call it a fluke goal if you like, but Dubuc (09') from the goal line in the corner, put the puck in front through traffic and some how it bounced in with 23 seconds left in the game. One hell of a come back for the boys, and they sure felt good after that win.
