Millbrook dominates in their season opener vs. Wooster

    Millbrook’s season opener took place on a beautiful fall afternoon at the Wooster School Wednesday. The starting eleven took the field enthusiastically and quickly overwhelmed the determined, though less experienced, Wooster squad. Millbrook built a five goal lead by halftime, on tallies by Baldo, Mauri, Voges, Harvey and Derby. Strong play in the midfield, especially by MacTavish, Parent and Bailly, created many scoring opportunities. The second half was characterized by sound defensive play orchestrated by sweeper Sam Augustine. Despite an impressive performance by the Wooster goalie, Abbott and Baldo added another goal each. The result was a balanced performance and included significant contributions from each member of the squad.
