Millbrook vs. Kent
Millbrook traveled to Kent on Wednesday to take on a skilled Kent JV team. Kent came out of the gate early and scored three early goals in the first quarter. Matt Fuller ’09 scored the first goal for Millbrook with an assist from Chase Cochran ’10 on an extra man goal. The first quarter ended with the score at 4-1. In the second quarter, Kent continued their fast, physical play and put away 6 more goals. Aleks Jeftic ’08 assisted Carter Sloan ’08 for their first career assist and goal respectively to finish up the half. In the second half, Millbrook settled down, but struggled to possess the ball. Will Pierrepont ’10 scored his first goal of the season off of an assist by Chase Cochran ’10 to finish the third quarter. The game proved to be a challenge, but the boys from Millbrook competed and played hard throughout. We will be back at home on Saturday when we face-off against Berkshire at 2:30PM.
