On cool crisp, day the Millbrook boys JV lacrosse team took on Hopkins at home. After a slow start, Millbrook got on the board with an unassisted goal by Matt Fuller '09. The went back and forth between the two evenly matched teams. At halftime, the game was tied 1-1, with twenty minutes of action left to play. In the third quarter, Millbrook raised their game, and took control of the game. Matt Fuller added one more goal, and he assisted Chase Cochran '10 on his only goal of the game. Hopkins brought the game back to 3-2 in the fourth quarter, but Millbrook was able to hold on thanks to critical groundball pick up by Isaiah Behagen '09. This was a team effort in which everyone played and contributed to the victory. Our outstanding defense was led by Jay lee '09 and Tri-Captains Drew Saunders '09 and Sean Spero '09. Dillon Lawson-Johnston '10 made several good saves and outstanding outlet passes as well. The Millbrook JV team will be back in action on Wednesday at 3PM at Kent.
