Amadou Fall Named CIAA Defensive Player of the Week

A Mustang hoops star just a year ago, Amadou Fall ’25 is already making a huge impact in his first year playing for the Lincoln University Lions. He’s started 12 of the team’s 18 games this season and was recently announced as the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Defensive Player of the Week for the week of Jan. 4-10.

In an Instagram post, the Lincoln Lions’ athletic department lauded Amadou for playing “with relentless energy and a defensive presence that changes the game.”

Known for his shot-blocking ability, Amadou is quickly developing into a threat on both sides of the court at NCAA Division II Lincoln University. He’s earned extensive playing time, averaging the third-most minutes on the team (21), and is scoring 6.6 points, grabbing 4.6 rebounds, and blocking 2.2 shots per game.

Despite a late start to his organized basketball career, Amadou put up over 1,000 points in high school. After joining the many Millbrook athletes who play in college, the 2024 All-NEPSAC selection is quickly refining the raw talent that flashed when he took the court for the Mustangs.

Congratulations, Amadou! The Mustangs are cheering you on from Millbrook and around the world!
