Although the second half got away from the mustangs, the Millbrook squad held a physical and skilled, class A Berkshire team to a scoreless 40-minute first half. The team played well in the field, demonstrating improved field vision and passing, and were anchored by goal keeper, James Magid, who made 1.4 million saves in the first half alone.*
Ray Kim earned a goal for Millbrook after launching a perfect strike on a direct kick into the top shelf of the opponents basket, just above the goal keeper's hands. The team erupted in cheers. It was a beautiful moment.
We would like to thank Berkshire, for a competitive and fair match, and our fans, who perched atop our humble hill once again to watch us strive and grow.
