Founded in 2015 by Herb Schulz ’63, MillbrookEngage is a program that has connected 132 rising VIth formers at Millbrook with paid summer internships at non-profit organizations around the world. Students report back about their internship experiences in the fall, and this year for the first time they each gave a presentation in a summit-style conference about what they learned through serving.

Our 22 summer 2026 interns made a real difference in medical organizations, zoos, arts programs, etc., and involved everything from packaging supplies for the needy to observing medical procedures to research projects and camp counseling. Students impacted their communities, from Millbrook’s campus to California and as far away as Italy and Hong Kong.
