In their first year under Head Coach Scott Ruggles, the boys varsity soccer team overcame a sluggish start to the season to earn the No. 4 seed in the upcoming New England Preparatory School Athletic Council (NEPSAC) Class C Tournament. The Mustangs will take on No. 5-seeded Concord Academy in the quarterfinals on Wednesday, Nov. 12 at 2:00 p.m. in neutral territory at Suffield Academy.

LIVESTREAM THE GAME

Millbrook went 3-4-2 in their first nine games as the squad dealt with a slew of injuries in the starting lineup. However, the squad dug deep, winning eight of their last nine games thanks to goals from eight different players over that stretch. The incredible team effort led to a solid 11-4-2 record.

After missing the tournament last season, the team is excited to once again chase postseason glory. The Mustangs have won the championship six times since joining the NEPSAC, most recently in 2018. They face a tough challenge in Game 1 versus 12-3-2 Concord, but the boys will be ready to leave it all on the pitch!

Should they win, the boys will advance to the semifinals on Saturday, Nov. 15 against the victor of Wednesday’s clash between No. 1 Greens Farms Academy and No. 8 Harvey School. The finals will take place at Brooks School on Sunday, Nov. 16 at 10:00 a.m.
