In this game, Millbrook gave their best effort of the season.  The Mustangs jumped out to an early 12 point lead, but Westminster tightened their zone defense and clawed back to within 4 points by halftime.  Bolstered by their late surge, Westminster dominated early in the second half.  With 8:00 remaining Millbrook was behind by 10 points and the outcome looked bleak.  Nevertheless the Mustangs kept their poise and earned a one-point victory with intense defense and clutch shooting.

Millbrook benefited from some great individual performances.  Senior guards Anthony Yip '08 and Sam Brundrett '08 led the team with inspiring effort and smart decision-making.  Aleks Jeftic '08 scored two dramatic 3-pointers in the final 5 minutes to retake the lead. Millbrook was undermanned with center Jae Hwa Lee '09 and guard George Whalen '08 sidelined by injury.  However center Lynn Harrington '09 stepped up to control the lane for nearly the entire game, and guard Jimmy Heffernan '09 provided quality minutes off the bench.
