One of the many Mustangs to pursue their athletic dreams in college and beyond, Suwaibatu Mohammed ’19 just signed with Omonia Nicosia FC for the 2025–26 season. Omonia FC competes in the Cypriot First Division of the Cyprus Football Association. The team added Mohammed, also known as “Swiss,” in hopes that she will help the club improve on its third-place finish in the 2024–25 season.

"Swiss can play both up top and on the edge of the attack. Her main characteristics are speed and technique,” the team noted in a statement on Instagram. “We welcome Swiss to the OMONIA family and wish her every success in her new beginning!"

Originally from Ghana, Mohammed came to Millbrook School through the Right to Dream Academy. She then matriculated to James Madison University, where she scored 10 goals and tallied six assists in 89 games, before signing her first professional contract to play for Wadi Degla in the Egyptian Premier League for the club's 2024–25 campaign.

We’re excited to continue following Suwaibatu’s professional soccer journey, and here’s how you can too:
